Diesel Mechanic

Our client is looking for a trades qualified Diesel Mechanic to work in their marine workshop. This role is based at a marine worksite and you will be required to service and maintain this clients forklifts, trucks and other mobile plant equipment. This is a highly autonomous role as you are working on a client site maintaining and servicing their equipment.

As a requirement, you will have to have the ability to get a MSIC card (paid for) so would be required to have a National Police Check conducted on you with no criminal convictions.

The successful candidate will;

• Be trade qualified as a diesel mechanic.
• Have previous experience working on mobile plant equipment and trucks.
• Enjoy working in a highly autonomous role and deliver excellence service to client on site.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices.
• A current valid MSIC card is highly desirable, but not essential.

Hours;

• Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm (an hour of overtime available each day)
