Account and Relationship Manager - Not For Profit

This critical role in a Not for Profit organisation is where you will be responsible for the maintenance, management and acquisition of the event delivery for clients, events and venues. Innovation in new business opportunities is key and overseeing the Event Support Team is also a function of this role. The scope of this position covers strategic planning, leadership and management associated with the development of new business streams resulting in additional growth. You will join a team with a wealth of knowledge and be guided by a supportive manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Relationship management of major event organisers and major venue operations management
• Identify, target and win new events and major event organisers
• Report on sales performance against budget
• Manage the sales pipeline in-line with volunteer and paid responder capacity
• Lead projects and initiatives in line with the Strategic Plan
• Monitor and manage business development and staff performance

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Strong customer/stakeholder relationships and service orientation
• Sales and/or major account management experience within a Customer Service or Service Delivery environment
• Actively recommend improvements to the business or services provided
• Proven record in business to business sales
• Strong ability to communicate, influence and the ability to negotiate and persuade
• Experience working with volunteers (highly regarded)
