The Client
The company is a leading national Facilities Management Service Provider and they are offering an opportunity to come on board for 3-6 months to work on a major Bid Process, with possible extension or permanency for the right person.

The Role
They are seeking a Bids Evaluation Manager to review building documentation, drawings and specs to assess viability of Facility Management service delivery and ease of access post-build.

The Ideal Person

  • The ideal profile is someone who is an expert within the Facility Management industry with experience in ongoing maintenance and soft service delivery, and considerable experience in Bids processes.
  • Must be highly literate in Build and Design Documentation, Plans, Specs, Drawings and Bids and Tender Proposals.
  • Review the material and provide expert technical advice to Bids teams on analysis of build plans
  • Identify areas in design that require change or adjustment so that Facility Management teams can service the facilities appropriately during operation.


The Skills Required

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management or similar.
  • 5+ years' experience in a bid leadership role with demonstrated experience in bid management in complex projects.
  • A sound understanding estimating with a broad background across civil / multidisciplinary disciplines preferably with both capital works, maintenance and FM operations
  • Highly skilled in monitoring and reporting systems, provision of quality evaluation advice, and building organisational evaluation capability aligning with policies and legislation.
  • Contribute to evaluation projects including frameworks and methodologies, information gathering, analysis and data extraction.
  • Provide quality assurance for external and internal research and evaluation projects.
  • Contribute to the sound functioning of evaluation services and systems within the agency.
  • Coordinate and undertake detailed or sensitive impact evaluations to influence the strategic, political or operational outcomes of the agency.
  • Strong skills in communication, negotiation and stakeholder relationship management .
